Cisneros, former Secretary of U.S. Dept. of Housing & Urban Development and Executive Chairman of CityView, will speak at 12:00 noon on how the new addition of the community is helping to meet Long Beach’s critical workforce housing need while embodying smart growth principles.  Long Beach City Councilman Robert Garcia (CD1) and former Mayor Beverly O’Neill will also be sharing thoughts on Blu as the latest urban addition to the city’s residential landscape.

Bluff Park Historic District is a small, very upscale neighborhood which contains some of Long Beach’s most dignified homes.  The historic district includes a variety of architectural styles, including Greene and Greene, American Craftsman, California Bungalow, Spanish Revival, Prairie Style, American Colonial Revival, Tudor and Mediterranean, constructed between 1903 and 1949.
